The two Italian companies have combined their expertise to present a designer product that breaks through the boundaries of weight and creates a perfect balance between lightness and quality: the new Blackfin AirGlass lens weighs just nine grams more than comparable plastic lenses and is a concentrate of craftsmanship and innovation.
By using high-quality Barberini mineral glass, Blackfin AirGlass lenses overcome the limitations of conventional plastic lenses and avoid distortion and aberrations. These state-of-the-art polarized lenses provide better vision by neutralizing glare and reflections, reducing eye fatigue to a minimum. Blackfin Ultra-HDR technology, made possible by the use of rare earths such as neodymium, praseodymium and erbium in Barberini's manufacturing process, significantly improves the perception of color and contrast. The highly scratch-resistant and durable lenses offer higher color quality and excellent visual acuity. In addition, thanks to their oil and water-repellent treatment, they guarantee unaltered clear vision in all conditions while offering a high level of protection against UV radiation and unpleasant reflections.
