Andreas Sudrow: New General Manager at CooperVision

After eight years of dedicated and successful work, Johannes Zupfer, former Managing Director of CooperVision DACH, left the company at the beginning of January 2025 to take on a new professional challenge outside CooperVision. He handed over the reins to Andreas Sudrow, who has held key positions at CooperVision for many years and has extensive experience.

Under the leadership of Johannes Zupfer, the DACH team worked in partnership with specialist opticians, developed innovative solutions, expanded market share, helped the contact lens to become more visible and sustainably improved the customer experience. "We are sad to see Johannes Zupfer leave us after many successful years of collaboration and wish him all the best for the future," says Christine Chantrain, Regional Director BENEDACH at CooperVision. "At the same time, we are delighted to have found an experienced and committed successor from our own ranks in Andreas Sudrow, who will further intensify the collaboration with our customers. We look to the future with confidence and are convinced that, together with him at the helm, we will seize new opportunities to further strengthen our market presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland," she adds.

Andreas Sudrow has extensive management experience, which he gained in earlier years in leading positions at Masterlease Germany and SEAT Germany. There he developed particular expertise in the areas of customer experience and operational excellence. Since joining CooperVision in 2013, the 45-year-old has achieved impressive results in various key areas of the company. These have included leadership positions in the Customer Experience department, sales and strategic partnership work for the EMEA region. "His clear focus on understanding and meeting the needs of customers will continue to drive alignment and partnerships in the DACH region going forward," says Chantrain.
