Premium contact lens inspires opticians and customers

One year ago, Johnson & Johnson Vision launched ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day and ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL onto the market. Since then, the premium contact lenses have won over numerous opticians and contact lens wearers throughout Switzerland.

Launched a year ago - now indispensable: 60 percent of Swiss contact lens specialists now carry the ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day product family in their range.

"We have developed the ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day product family specifically for the high visual demands of a modern lifestyle," emphasizes Tina Tursic, Marketing Manager at Johnson & Johnson Vision Switzerland. "Our varied, demanding everyday lives and the long hours we spend on digital devices - sometimes up to 13 hours a day - constantly demand maximum performance from our eyes. With ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day, contact lens specialists can provide optimal care for customers with high demands. And ultimately benefit from satisfied, loyal customers".

Excellent lens material and unique technology combination

The spherical and multifocal contact lenses ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day made of silicone hydrogel material offer a completely new level of visual quality and comfort thanks to the combination of two innovative technologies: TearStable technology ensures prolonged stability of the tear film and a high level of comfort at the end of the day. The Optiblue Light filter reduces stray light by 20 percent, improving visual quality and comfort.

ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL adds another technology: the pupil-optimized design adjusts 100 percent of the parameters for different pupil sizes depending on age and refractive error.

Judith Seidel and Bernhard Schaub, owners of Peter & Bosshard Optik in Zurich, attest to the enormous market potential of the premium contact lens: "ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day is a real milestone and our first choice for contact lens fitting. 90 percent of our customers who have tried this lens have opted for it in the end. We were even able to convince potential dropouts to continue wearing contact lenses."
