More than just a glasses case

For this reason, a new glasses case was developed for the sustainable Götti BIONIC collection, which incorporates many innovative ideas and is also produced in Switzerland.
New ideas are needed, as sustainability is directly linked to the material, including procurement, production and distribution. It's all about reduction and simplification - exactly the same ideas behind Götti BIONIC. The minimalist case consists of 5 individual parts, which are supplied as a kit. It takes up very little space when stored - a great side effect, as there is often a lack of storage space in smaller stores. Certainly a little unusual but all the more exciting, the glasses case is assembled in front of the customer's eyes. This allows the idea behind the sustainable case to be brought to life. Two different types of case can be made from the individual parts in just a few simple steps. Horizontal or vertical - and with a cord as a fashion accessory to wear around your neck.
The flexible vinyl leather is connected to the button parts with just a few clicks. This button holds the case together and also serves as a closure for the design. It is the centerpiece of the glasses case, was developed by Götti and is also produced in Switzerland. The durable material is ideal as a connecting piece and allows the case to be easily reassembled if necessary. Together with a cleaning cloth made from recycled PET, the case is supplied with every pair of BIONIC glasses.
A glasses case that is made in Switzerland from A to Z is an absolute novelty. "This case perfectly rounds off the story behind Götti BIONIC and underlines the idea of "slow eyewear" with 100% Swissness, which we also pursue with our eyewear," says Sven Götti. When it comes to sustainability, the reduction to a few parts, minimal energy consumption and short transportation routes are essential.
